According to SMM, Tektronix Resources and Gloria lead of South Korea reached an agreement on the annual supply of zinc concentrate in 2021, and the final Benchmark processing fee for zinc concentrate was US $159USD / dry ton, a decrease of US $140.5 / dry ton compared with the same period in 2020. According to people familiar with the matter, there are great differences in the negotiations between the Association of long-term Zinc concentrates in Asia, mainly due to the tight supply of zinc mines in China. The processing fee for zinc concentrate imported from China is quoted at US $550.80 / dry ton, which is about US $150USD / dry ton lower than the same period last year. At the same time, the slow resumption of work in small and medium-sized mines in Peru and Bolivia due to epidemic prevention and control factors, the global zinc mine supply has been greatly reduced by the epidemic and other factors. The zinc processing fee finalized this time is slightly lower than the expected price of 180,210 US dollars / dry ton in the mainstream of the market, but it is still higher than the current mainstream zinc processing fee in China.
