New progress has been made in Jiang Copper's overseas projects.

On March 29, the signing ceremony of the general contract agreement for the main mineral processing project of the Bakuta tungsten mine project in Kazakhstan was held in Zhuhai, marking another big step forward in the construction of the main project of the project. Zheng Gaoqing, secretary of the party committee, chairman and general manager of Jiang Copper Group, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech.

Liu Liqiang, chairman of Jiaxin International Resources Investment Co., Ltd., and Wang Jinsong, deputy general manager of China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd., signed the general contract agreement for the main project of mineral processing on behalf of the company.

Hua Neishi, chief representative of Kazakhstan State Investment Corporation in China, Wang Kewen, deputy secretary-general of China Industry overseas Development Association, Liao Jun, party committee secretary and vice chairman of China Railway Construction International Investment Group Co., Ltd. Chen Sichang, general manager of China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and Liu Zijia, executive director of Hong Kong Hengzhao International Co., Ltd., jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.

The tungsten mine project in Kazakhstan is an important achievement of Jiang Copper's participation in the construction of "Belt and Road Initiative". The project is jointly funded by Jiangxi Copper Group Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Hengzhao International Co., Ltd., China Railway Construction International Investment Group Co., Ltd., and China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd.

As one of the 56 key projects within the framework of production capacity cooperation between China and Kazakhstan, the Bakuta Tungsten Mine Project has received great attention and attention from the governments of the two countries. The project overcomes the adverse impact of the global pandemic of COVID-19. The early project officially started construction on November 11, 2020.

According to the project plan, the basic construction period is 2 years, the comprehensive processing capacity of the first phase reaches 10, 000 tons / day, and in the later stage, through upgrading and transformation, the capacity is expanded to 15000 tons / day.

At the signing ceremony, all partners said that the construction, development, and operation of the Bakuta Tungsten Mine project is only the beginning of cooperation. With the deepening of cooperation and the superimposition of resources, Jetsu Tungsten Industry Company will certainly be built into a first-class mining company with first-class management science, technology, and leading benefits, and use this as a platform to jointly explore better and better mineral resources investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and even the entire Central Asian region. Jointly draw a new blueprint for overseas development in the new era.

It is understood that the total contract amount of the main mineral processing project is 1.328 billion yuan, and the project is scheduled to start construction in May and is scheduled to be completed and put into production in two years.
