Operating rates across licensed smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou remained unchanged from the prior week at 53.39% as of April 2, showed an SMM survey. (Last week’s operating rates were revised to 53.39% as output of Anhui Huabo was corrected.)

SHANGHAI, Apr 2 (SMM) – Operating rates across licensed smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou remained unchanged from the prior week at 53.39% as of April 2, showed an SMM survey. (Last week’s operating rates were revised to 53.39% as output of Anhui Huabo was corrected.)

Secondary lead output continued to fall this week as some secondary smelters remained suspended. Operating rates are expected to remain steady next week as sample smelters are likely to keep stable production.

Jiangxi Fengri will recover from maintenance next week, and new capacity at Tianjin Dongbang will yield output, which will led to a slight rise in secondary lead output.
