The EU has imposed tariffs on imports of Chinese aluminium products after an investigation showed that Chinese aluminium products were sold at unfairly low prices, the EU's official daily said on Tuesday.
The European Commission, which is responsible for trade policy in the 27 countries of the European Union, has imposed anti-dumping duties of 21.2% to 31.2% on Chinese aluminum profile producers.
The tariff imposed was lower than the temporary tariff of 30.4% to 48.0% imposed in the middle of the investigation.
The European Commission launched an investigation into these products, which are widely used in transport, construction and electronics, in February 2020 after receiving complaints from the industry group Euroaluminium.
