Shanghai bonded refined nickel stocks fell 1,500 mt on week

Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas decreased 1,500 mt from a week ago to 11,300 mt as of March 26, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Mar 26 (SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas decreased 1,500 mt from a week ago to 11,300 mt as of March 26, showed SMM data.

Nickel cathode and briquette flowed into domestic markets this week, but the import arbitrage window has been closed currently, and refined nickel stocks in Shanghai bonded zone fell to low levels. Shipments from the bonded zone are likely to slow down next week.
