SHANGHAI, Mar 24 (SMM) — Sales of NEVs fell further in February. In February, sales of NEVs were 94,432 units, a 36% decrease from the previous month's 146,493 units. Days in February are relatively short and producers have CNY holidays. Workers are encouraged to spend CNY holidays in local regions amid the pandemic in February.

It can be seen from the model rankings that almost all models fell sharply month-on-month while Tesla Model Y was still in a climbing stage due to limited production capacity, which still focuses on the execution of pre-orders, so sales have increased significantly from the previous month. As BYD will soon release new models, the sales of its subordinate models have declined to varying degrees. Thus, Tesla enjoyed two best performers this month.
