SHANGHAI, Mar 17 (SMM)—Domestic lead market witnessed a gradual growth of production capacity in recent years. SMM has integrated the customer groups on lead industry chain, including upstream companies, including smelters, battery materials and auxiliary materials, and third-party equipment in an effort to match resource among the whole industry chain, lower lead-acid battery companies’ production costs and explore the way of developing the battery industry.

Jiangsu Huafu Energy Storage New Technology Co., Ltd. specialises in the R&D, production, sales, and service of energy storage materials application. It is a national high-tech enterprise. Huafu's manufacturing base is located in Gaoyou Battery Industrial Park, Gaoyou Economic Development Zone, covering an area of nearly 200 acres, with nearly 200 sets of advanced production equipment, including 87 sets of imported equipment and 94 domestic equipment. The lead-acid batteries produced by Huafu have independent intellectual property rights. Leading technologies are applied to the production of the core components of grids, plates, and battery shells and connection. The high technical strength and industry-university-research cooperation has been recognised at excellent by Jiangsu government.

Process is mainly improved in the production efficiency, battery performance, and battery life. The production efficiency is enhanced with higher degree of mechanisation, and the battery life can be expanded through the 4BS generated from the strengthened grid and active materials.

New materials: The core project of technological innovation lies in the research and development of electrolytes. Up to now, there is no original and auxiliary materials exclusively used for development of lead-acid battery electrolytes in China, but phased progress has been made after countless experiments.

New formula: The company has been mainly producing floating batteries. With the development of emerging markets, the content of the paste acid is adjusted to generate 4BS paste, and the battery circulation will be improved.

High-tin and low-calcium alloy: Element content in the alloys are increased to further delay the corrosion and the generation of barrier layer between the alloy and the active material, thereby prolonging the service life.

Application of high-quality, high-efficiency and environmental protection tooling: Through market research and demonstration, the company selects high-quality, high-efficiency and environmentally friendly lead powder machines, plate casting machines, paste machines, plate coating machines, glue filling machines, and intelligent charging and discharging forming cabinets.
