[Dongfeng Motor received 540 million yuan of national subsidies for the promotion of new energy vehicles] Dongfeng Motor recently received a total of 544.46 million yuan of subsidies for the promotion and application of national new energy vehicles. Among them, 4.46 million yuan is the remaining state subsidy and liquidation fund for new energy vehicles paid by Xiangyang City Finance Bureau in 2019, and 520 million yuan is the subsidy fund for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles in 2016-2018 paid by Xiangyang City Finance Bureau.

On the evening of March 15, Dongfeng Motor (600006) issued an announcement and recently received a total of 544.46 million yuan in subsidies for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles. Among them, 24.46 million yuan is the remaining state subsidy and liquidation fund for new energy vehicles paid by Xiangyang City Finance Bureau in 2019, and 520 million yuan is the subsidy fund for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles in 2016-2018 paid by Xiangyang City Finance Bureau. Dongfeng Motor said in the announcement that the subsidy received this time will directly write off the company's accounts receivable, will not affect the company's current profit and loss, and will have a positive impact on the company's cash flow.

According to the official website of Dongfeng Automobile, the company began to lay out new energy pure electric vehicles as early as 2005. After 16 years of industrial hard work, it now has four platforms: pure electric passenger vehicles, pure electric animal vehicles, pure electric special-purpose vehicles and passenger cars, and actively serves the urban express delivery, merchant super distribution, wholesale logistics, municipal sanitation and other industries, becoming a beautiful landscape of urban green logistics. At the same time, Dongfeng Motor is also working with Shenzhen ground Railway and Xiangyang Dongbo to actively explore and innovate new energy vehicle operation business cooperation models to promote the electrified and intelligent development of the company's new energy vehicle industry.

In 2020, Dongfeng Motor is accelerating the construction of independent new energy high-end automobile brand, creating the "Lantu" brand. According to the plan, from 2021, the brand will launch at least one new car every year. In the next 3-5 years, the product line will cover cars, SUV, MPV and other new energy products.

In addition, Dongfeng Motor announced in December 2020 that the company plans to spend 7.7 billion yuan on the layout of new-generation vehicles and forward-looking technology development projects, including new new energy platform architecture, new modular platform architecture, self-driving, intelligent networking, hydrogen fuel, etc., all represent the current cutting-edge exploration of the application of science and technology in the field of new energy vehicles, which also reveals the scientific and technological attributes of Dongfeng Automobile itself. And the development strategy of using science and technology to lead the iteration and innovation of the new energy vehicle industry.

According to the official website, Dongfeng Automobile sold more than 8300 new energy vehicles in 2020, with more than 110000 units in the market. In the field of pure electric commercial vehicles, Dongfeng Automobile has a market share in the first camp.
