






Tesla, an electric car maker, is likely to be granted the right to use an industrial land near Hong Kong in the Shanghai free trade zone, which is located next to the company's Shanghai electric car super factory, covering an area of more than 100 acres, according to media reports. The move is the latest manifestation of the rapid expansion of Tesla Electric vehicle Shanghai Super Factory.
Tesla is now looking for a new agreement to get the right to use the 113 acres of land next to the factory, according to the report. The Gongqi site is close to Tesla Shanghai Super Factory, and industry insiders infer from the announcement that there is a high probability that this land will be used for the expansion of Tesla Shanghai Super Factory. The electric car maker recently confirmed that it plans to expand the production of electric vehicles at its Shanghai super factory from the current 250000 to 450000 a year. Tesla supply chain company is expected to benefit from a significant increase in production in the future.
