The aluminum futures contract revised by the Shanghai Futures Exchange

The Aluminum Futures contract of Shanghai Futures Exchange (revised version) has been examined and approved by the Council of Shanghai Futures Exchange and has been reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission and is hereby promulgated.

From February 26th, 2021, standard warehouse receipt delivery of remelted aluminum ingots produced in accordance with GB/T 1196-2017 will be allowed. As of May 26, 2021, aluminum ingots for remelting produced in accordance with GB/T 1196-2008 shall not be made into standard warehouse receipts, and the standard warehouse receipts that have been made can continue to be used for performance delivery of futures contracts.
