Aluminium output in Baise City of Guangxi province stood at 1.7 million mt in 2020. Companies such as Baikuang Aluminium, Guangxi Xinfa Aluminium and Electricity, and Baise Yinhai Aluminium operated at full capacity after the regional power grid was put into operation.

SHANGHAI, Feb 23 (SMM)—Aluminium output in Baise City of Guangxi province stood at 1.7 million mt in 2020. Companies such as Baikuang Aluminium, Guangxi Xinfa Aluminium and Electricity, and Baise Yinhai Aluminium operated at full capacity after the regional power grid was put into operation.

According to statistics, alumina output in Baise city stood at 9 million mt in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%; output of aluminium products came in at 1.5 million mt, rising 16.7% on the year. The aluminium industry completed a total industrial output value of 70.5 billion yuan, up 7.9% from a year ago, accounting for 58.9% of the city’s above-scale industries total output value.

China and Laos Signed an MOU on the Oudomxay AI Green Power Aluminum Project Together

Vientiane recently marked a major milestone in China-Laos green industrial cooperation—Krittaphong Group Co., Ltd. and CGN Energy Technology (Laos) Co., Ltd., together with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Laos and Oudomxay Province, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Oudomxay AI Green Electricity Eco-Aluminum Industrial Park Project. Tang Danzhong, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Investment Group, and Lin Rui, Chairman of Electricite du Laos Transmission Company Limited (EDL-T), attended the signing ceremony as witnesses, fully demonstrating all parties’ firm confidence in and full support for the project’s smooth implementation.
