Henan Yuguang Gold lead-lead smelting Industry Energy efficiency "Leader" practical experience sharing

China's lead output in 2020 was 6.443 million tons, an increase of 67 percent over 2015, and the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product of lead smelting was about 345kg standard coal / ton, down 13.8 per cent from 2015. In 2020, there are a total of three energy efficiency "leaders" in the lead smelting industry, namely: Henan Yuguang Gold and lead Co., Ltd., the lead smelting process "leader", Henan Yuguang Gold and lead Co., Ltd., the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product is 260.2 kg standard coal / ton, which is 27% better than the standard advanced value. Yunnan Chihong Zinc Germanium Co., Ltd., the "leader" of crude lead process, has a comprehensive energy consumption of 204.6 kg standard coal per ton, which is better than the standard advanced value of 18%. Jiangsu Xinchunxing Renewable Resources Co., Ltd., the "leader" of recycled lead technology, has a comprehensive energy consumption of 98.4 kg of standard coal / ton per unit product, which is better than the standard advanced value of 18%.

Advanced energy-saving practices include the following four points:

First, the research and application of advanced energy-saving technology. Henan Yuguang Gold and lead Co., Ltd. adopts the self-developed new process of "one-step lead smelting by direct reduction of liquid high lead slag", which effectively solves the problem of waste of latent heat in the smelting process, and implements natural gas instead of coal at the same time. The comprehensive energy consumption of crude lead smelting is about 30% less than that of "bottom blowing + reduction" stage smelting process. Yunnan Chihong Zinc and Germanium Co., Ltd. adopts the process of "oxygen-rich top-blowing smelting in Isa furnace + side-blowing reduction of liquid high-lead slag in reduction furnace + fuming volatilization in fuming furnace". The physical heat of liquid high-lead slag is effectively utilized and the fuel consumption is greatly reduced.

The second is to optimize the energy structure. Henan Yuguang Gold and lead Co., Ltd. revamped traditional coal-fired boilers, using natural gas instead of coal, saving 12000 tons of standard coal per year; using steam waste heat from lead and copper smelting system to generate 78 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year, saving more than 9500 tons of standard coal; and cooperating with photovoltaic power companies to build distributed photovoltaic power stations, using solar energy to generate 22.6 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year, accounting for 4.2% of the company's electricity consumption. Yunnan Chihong Zinc and Germanium Co., Ltd. has carried out the transformation of natural gas instead of coal gas, saving more than 1700 tons of standard coal a year, generating 66.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year and saving more than 8200 tons of standard coal by using the steam waste heat of lead and zinc smelting system.

Third, actively promote the transformation of energy-saving technologies. Jiangsu Xinchunxing Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. revamped the refining feeding link, adopted cross heat exchange in the combined unit, cancelled intermediate cooling, realized the optimal matching of cold and heat flow, utilized energy echelons, reduced the consumption of natural gas, and saved 3000 tons of standard coal a year. Yunnan Chihong Zinc and Germanium Co., Ltd. has greatly reduced energy consumption and saved 700 tons of standard coal a year through the implementation of frequency conversion transformation of high-power fan and optimization of electric front bed process.

Fourth, strengthen the management and control of energy informatization. Yunnan Chihong Zinc and Germanium Co., Ltd. has set up an energy on-line monitoring system, which integrates intelligent instruments, remote high-speed sensors, bus field control system and advanced equipment automatic identification management system to realize real-time monitoring and precise regulation of energy data, and achieve remarkable energy-saving results.
