List of major construction projects in Shanghai in 2021: plan to build the first phase of Tesla Super Factory, etc.

The Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission today released a list of major construction projects in Shanghai in 2021. These projects focus on science and technology industry, social and livelihood, ecological civilization, urban infrastructure, urban-rural integration and rural revitalization, with a total of 166 formal projects, including 18 new projects planned for the year, 128 under construction and 20 completed projects. Another 47 preparatory projects were arranged. Among them, five projects are planned for the science and technology industry: the functional platform for R & D and transformation of Shanghai integrated circuit industry, the first phase of Tesla Super Factory, the Zhangjiang Science Park of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and the construction of SAIC-Volkswagen MEB plant.
