American rare earths, a mining company, reportedly plans to list on the stock market this year, valuing it at more than $1 billion.

U. S. rare earths are considering an initial public offering ((IPO)) or a public offering through a special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC), according to people familiar with the matter.

American rare earths is developing a Round Top rare earth mine near Serablanca in Haspeth County, Texas. The, Round Top mine is said to have one of the largest heavy rare earth element (REE) deposits in the United States.

Us rare earths expect a potential offering price of between $300m and $500m. The company will use the proceeds to partially fund the Round Top mine and processing facility, which is scheduled to begin operation in 2023.
