On February 4, Tesla Shanghai Super charging pile Factory was officially completed and put into operation, which indicates that Tesla's third generation super charging pile (V3) has been officially launched for less than half a year since the project was officially established in August 2020.
Tesla Shanghai Super charging pile Factory has an investment of about 42 million yuan, covers an area of nearly 5000 square meters, integrates R & D and production, and has an initial planned annual production capacity of 10000 super charging piles, mainly V3 products. This product is Tesla's most advanced charging pile equipment, charging for 15 minutes can replenish up to 250km of battery life, but also has multiple advantages such as ultra-light liquid-cooled charging lines.
Official figures show that in 2020, Tesla built more than 410 Tesla supercharging stations in China, including more than 180 Tesla V3 supercharging stations.
On January 29th, China Electric vehicle charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance predicted that in 2021, there will be 426000 new private car charging piles, 252000 public AC charging piles, 111000 public DC charging piles and 21100 new charging stations. By the end of 2021, the domestic new energy vehicle-to-pile ratio will be 2.7 per cent.
