Year-on-year increase of 9% FAW Toyota sales reached 84000 units in January

A few days ago, FAW Toyota officially announced its sales in January 2021. FAW Toyota sold 84000 units in January, up 9 per cent year-on-year and 4.5 per cent market share, according to data.

At the same time, FAW Toyota did not disclose specific model sales, but according to 2020, the top three models expected to sell in January 2021 are still Corolla (parameter | inquiry), RAV4 Rongfang and Asian Dragon. Specifically, as the mainstream compact sedan, the Corolla sold 343400 cars in 2020, RAV4 sold 174900 cars, and Asia Dragon sold 111500.

FAW Toyota has set a sales target of 920000 vehicles in 2021, so in addition to strengthening the sales and strength of existing products, FAW Toyota will also introduce more products in 2021, including the released ALLION, RAV4 launch PHEV, Yize IZOA hybrid version, the new Hanlanda and the new Harrier.

Just before that, we got the English name of the suspected FAW Toyota version of the new Hanlanda model-CROWN KLUGER. "KLUGER" is the English name used by Toyota Hanlanda in the Australian market, while the use of the name "CROWN" seems to imply that Toyota Crown will be resurrected as SUV after it is discontinued. At the same time, another potential destabilizing factor for Toyota is the 1.5L three-cylinder engine that the Carola is about to replace: can Toyota's three-cylinder engine convince consumers?
