Market transactions have gradually declined due to imminent suspension of logistics before CNY and maintenance at lithium salt plants.

SHANGHAI, Feb 3 (SMM) — Market transactions have gradually declined due to imminent suspension of logistics before CNY and maintenance at lithium salt plants. Producers are now busy delivering orders. Although some companies have locked in orders in advance, their selling prices are based on market prices and continued to rise.

Some lithium salt plants will resume production or partially commission new capacity after CNY. Lithium carbonate supply, mostly lithium carbonate made with mica and salt lake, will increase steadily in H1, which will ease tight supply and drive prices to gradually stabilize.
