In order to promote the green sustainable development of Baowu Aluminum Industry and implement the concept of green manufacturing, on January 26, Baowu Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. and Baowu Clean Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Baowu Qingneng") held a video signing ceremony, the two sides reached cooperation on jointly promoting the distributed photovoltaic utilization of the roof of the plant.

The project will be invested by Baowu Qingneng and organized and operated under the BOO (Construction-Operation-Management) model. According to the agreement between the two sides, Baowu Aluminum provides the roof of the plant as a lighting spot, and Baowu Qingneng builds distributed photovoltaic power generation facilities, which will sell electricity to Baowu Aluminum at preferential electricity prices, so as to achieve a "green-win-win" cooperation.

The project not only uses solar power generation technology, safe, environmental protection and non-pollution, but also does not occupy land for the installation of photovoltaic system, so that land resources can be effectively used, which will effectively promote energy saving and emission reduction, and achieve the sustainable development of urban energy.

After the completion of the project, it is expected to provide Baowu Aluminum Industry with an average of 10 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity per year. Compared with coal-fired power plants, it can save 3200 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 9800 tons per year, with good economic and social benefits.

The relevant person in charge of Baowu Aluminum said that he hoped that the project would operate more efficiently and stably, effectively reduce the cost of electricity consumption for enterprises, contribute to energy conservation and emission reduction, promote the development of clean energy, and strive to build the project into a model for national photovoltaic power generation projects.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
