Chile's copper production fell to 506891 tons in December

Chile's manufacturing output rose 0.4% year-on-year in December, a positive sign after being hit by the novel coronavirus epidemic, Chile's National Bureau of Statistics ((INE)) said on Friday. Chile is the world's largest copper producer.

Chilean copper production fell 8.7 per cent to 506891 tons in December, according to the Bureau of Statistics.
