Primary aluminium inventories built up 13,000 mt on week

SHANGHAI, Jan 28 (SMM) – Primary aluminium ingot inventories in China rose this week, showed SMM data. 

Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, increased 13,000 mt from last Thursday to 682,000 mt as of January 28. 

The downstream stockpiling before the holiday continued in Wuxi and Gongyi, and there was no significant increase in arrivals in Xinjiang and Southwest China.
