SHANGHAI, Jan 22 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port declined 6,000 mt from the prior week to 77,000 mt as of Friday January 22, SMM data showed.
The amount of cargoes shipped into and out of social warehouses in Kunming and Huangpu port rose significantly this week as downstream users from home and overseas conducted pre-holiday stockpiling.
Silicon social inventories are expected to extend declines next week.
