SHANGHAI, Jan 22(SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas decreased 2,600 mt from a week ago and stood at 18,600 mt as of January 22, showed SMM data.
The import window for nickel plate has been completely opened since last week due to the shortage of domestic refined nickel inventories. Therefore, goods in the bonded area gradually flowed into domestic social warehouses. It is expected that a trader's bill of lading will arrive at port next week, and is reported to be imported directly through customs clearance. Shanghai bonded refined nickel stocks will also continue to maintain a downward trend.
