Honeycomb Energy and Huayou Cobalt sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

[honeycomb Energy and Huayou Cobalt signed a strategic cooperation agreement] on January 18, Honeycomb Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Huayou headquarters in Tongxiang, Zhejiang. According to the agreement, the two sides will make use of their respective advantages to cooperate in recycling lithium new energy batteries and reducing carbon emissions, so as to enhance the competitiveness of the supply chain.

On January 18, Honeycomb Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Huayou headquarters in Tongxiang, Zhejiang. According to the agreement, the two sides will make use of their respective advantages to cooperate in recycling lithium new energy batteries and reducing carbon emissions, so as to enhance the competitiveness of the supply chain.

Yang Hongxin, president of Honeycomb Energy, Marseille, director of matching procurement, Chen Xuehua, chairman of Huayou Group, Fang Qixue, vice chairman, and Bao Wei, assistant to the president, attended the signing ceremony.

President Yang Hongxin introduced the development of the company, fully affirmed the development of Huayou, and expressed the good will of the two sides to cooperate in related fields in the future, such as battery recycling and reducing carbon emissions in China and Europe. I am full of confidence in Huayou's broad development prospects.

According to the latest data from the Passenger Car Association, in December 2025, producers with new energy wholesale sales exceeding 10,000 units accounted for 93% of the total wholesale sales of passenger NEVs that month. Based on preliminary January data, these producers achieved sales of 830,000 units in January. As most producers have already locked in their major sales figures, by applying the structural proportion from the previous month to the current month's data, the estimated wholesale sales of passenger NEVs nationwide in January were 900,000 units. According to comprehensive preliminary monthly association data: the estimated wholesale sales of NEVs by national passenger car producers in January 2026 were 900,000 units, up 1% YoY.
