SHANGHAI, Jan 15 (SMM) – Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces remained unchanged from the prior week at 74.36% in the week ended January 15.
As end-user consumption held largely unchanged, lead-acid battery makers kept stable production. Some producers planned to take the Chinese New Year holiday in advance considering the current COVID-19 outbreak in China, while some planned to operate normally during the holiday.
