[Burkina Faso gold production rose to fourth in Africa] according to the Burkina Faso Mining Association (Chamber of Mines), Burkina Faso's gold production soared to a record 60.8 tons in 2020. Burkina Faso is currently the fourth largest gold producer in Africa, after Ghana, South Africa and Sudan.
