Recently, the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission officially announced that in order to further promote the promotion and application of new energy vehicles and promote the market consumption of new energy vehicles, with the consent of the municipal government, the validity period of "Shenzhen measures to deal with the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and promote the promotion and application of new energy vehicles" will be extended until June 30, 2021.

In June 2020, in order to promote the consumption of new energy vehicles, Shenzhen promoted and implemented a series of related policies. the policies include relaxing the application conditions for the increment index of personal new energy cars, expanding the scope of individual purchase of new energy cars, and increasing parking concessions for new energy vehicles. However, the policy in the document is to be implemented from June 7, 2020 to December 31, 2020. After the expiration of the document, the above policy measures will no longer be implemented.

Recently, the Shenzhen Municipal Government has made it clear that it will continue to further promote the promotion of new energy vehicles and promote the consumption of the new energy market, and extend the implementation date of the policy to June 30, 2021, so as to continue to stimulate the development of the new energy market.

Editor's comments:

With the promotion of global automobile electrification, all localities are issuing corresponding policies and regulations to support the new energy industry. Whether it is preferential subsidies or car policies, they are all lopsided towards new energy vehicles. This can increase consumer demand for new energy vehicles, stimulate car companies to continue to develop better new energy technologies, and create a more favorable living space for this emerging market.
