SKI began building a second battery plant in July at its Georgia plant, which is scheduled to start production in 2023 with an annual capacity of 11.7GWh. It is reported that 90% of the first factory has been completed and trial production is expected to begin in the first half of 2021. The capacity of the two plants is expected to reach 21.5GWh.
