China Automobile Association: car sales in December 2020 are expected to increase by 5.4% over the same period last year.

According to the forecast of key enterprises according to the statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in December 2020, the sales volume of the automobile industry is expected to complete 2.802 million units, an increase of 1.2% month-on-month and 5.4% over the same period last year. According to the breakdown of vehicle types, passenger car sales increased by 5.9% year-on-year, while commercial vehicle sales fell 4.4% from the same period last year.

In 2020, the cumulative sales of the automobile industry are estimated to be 25.272 million, down 1.9% from the same period last year; according to the breakdown of models, passenger car sales are down 6.1% from the same period last year, and commercial vehicle sales are up 18% from the same period last year.
