SHANGHAI, Dec 31 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port increased 5,000 mt from the prior week to 80,000 mt as of Thursday December 31, SMM data showed.
A slight decline in shipments leaving Kunming port resulted in the increase in inventories. The amount of cargoes in and out of warehouses at Huangpu port and Tianjin port rose significantly this week. Silicon exports are expected to maintain upward trend in December.
