Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port remained unchanged at 75,000 mt as of Friday December 25, SMM data showed.

SHANGHAI, Dec 25 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port remained unchanged from a week ago at 75,000 mt as of Friday December 25, SMM data showed.
Exporters stepped up shipments in December as they concerned about rising sea freight costs and the Christmas and New Year holiday, but most of the cargoes were directly transported from factories to ports, so the social inventories are stable.
