SHANGHAI, Dec 17 (SMM) – Primary aluminium ingot inventories in China continued to decline this week, showed SMM data.
Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 7,000 mt from last Thursday to 589,000 mt as of December 17.
Stocks in Nanhai fell 11,000 mt while stocks in Wuxi rose 5,000 mt. It is reported that some local aluminum ingots in Gongyi have flowed into East China due to the implementation of limited production for environmental protection. Arrivals will be monitored in the following weeks.
