It is reported that BYD has delivered 246 pure electric buses to Keolis Holland. The two sides ordered a total of 259 electric buses in three sizes, which are 8.7 meters, 12 meters and 13 meters long. the remaining 13 buses will be delivered in the spring of 2021, the largest order for electric buses in European history.

The company has two assembly plants in Europe, one in Hungary and the other in France. "the Keolis fleet is made up of BYD 12-meter and 13-meter electric buses," the company said. Thanks to BYD's newly upgraded battery technology, 13-meter vehicles can provide longer range and cross-city commuting. Most of Keolis's orders (206electric buses) are BYD's best-selling 12-meter model. "

On 13 December, these buses began to be used on the routes of Zvole (Zwolle), Apperdonn (Apeldoorn), Eddard (Ede), Dadmswat (Dedemsvaart), Watson (Vaassen), Hadwick (Harderwijk) and de Venter (Deventer) in the Aysel-Wecht region of the country.

BYD says all electric buses support CCS Combo DC quick chargers. "all vehicles are equipped with atmosphere lights, USB charging interfaces and soundproof floor covers," the company said. In addition, the seat of the 13-meter model also has a multimedia control (MMC), to provide passengers with the highest convenience, including reading lights, mobile phone brackets and folding trays.

Safety and driver comfort have also been improved, with aerial cameras providing drivers with a 360-degree view around the vehicle. In addition, the electric driver seat with a memory card can also remember the seat position of multiple drivers and can be adjusted automatically quickly and conveniently. "
