Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports rose 101,000 wmt to 9.41 million wmt

Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports increased 101,000 wmt from December 4 to 9.41 million wmt as of December 11, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Dec 11 (SMM) — Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports increased 101,000 wmt from December 4 to 9.41 million wmt as of December 11, showed SMM data.

In Ni content, the stocks rose 1,000 mt to 74,600 mt.

SMM data also showed that nickel ore stocks across seven major Chinese ports increased 141,000 wmt during the same period to 7.13 million wmt.

Nonferrous metals on the LME rose for the most part on Thursday morning. Shanghai base metals, except tin and aluminium, moved higher as of 9:35 Beijing time, holding onto overnight gains.
