Primary lead smelters operating rates fell to 60.9% this week

Operating rates across primary lead smelters in Henan, Hunan and Yunnan provinces lost 1.7 percentage points from the previous week to 60.9% in the week ended December 11, showed an SMM survey.

SHANGHAI, Dec 11 (SMM) – Operating rates across primary lead smelters in Henan, Hunan and Yunnan provinces lost 1.7 percentage points from the previous week to 60.9% in the week ended December 11, showed an SMM survey.

Maintenance at Yunnan Zhenxing is expected to last for 15 days, and Henan Xinling will conduct maintenance next week. Hunan Huihong Technology started trial production this week.
