SHANGHAI, Dec 11 (SMM) — Stocks of copper in Shanghai bonded areas decreased for three consecutive weeks.

SMM data showed that the stocks fell 8,500 mt from the prior week to 351,400 mt as of Friday December 11.

Some traders said that some shipping schedule was delayed, and arrivals decreased. There was an opportunity to open the import window in the last two weeks. The warehouse receipts signed at the time of import profit were declared for import this week, which led to a further decline in inventories.
