SMM News: on the evening of December 8, GAC GROUP announced the latest production and sales data. In November, the group achieved 218000 car sales, an increase of 11.4% over the same period last year. From January to November, the group sold a total of 1.835 million new cars, down 2.2% from the same period last year.
From the perspective of joint ventures, except for Guangben and Guangben to achieve growth in November, the rest showed a downward trend. Among them, GAC Honda sold 86000 vehicles, up 22.6% from the same period last year; GAC Toyota sold 77000 vehicles, up 13.8% from the same period last year; GAC Fick sold 4000 vehicles, down 39.4% from the same period last year; and GAC-Mitsubishi sold 9000 vehicles, down 25.0% from the same period last year.
From January to November, GAC Honda sold 725000 new cars, a slight increase of 0.6% over the same period last year; GAC Toyota sold 693000 vehicles, up 11.0% from the same period last year, with the largest increase; GAC Fick sold 35000 vehicles, down 44.7% from the same period last year; GAC-Mitsubishi sold 64000 vehicles, down 46.4% from the same period last year.
In terms of independent sectors, GAC MOTOR's sales picked up obviously, with sales of 41000 new cars in November, up 5.3% from January to November, with cumulative sales of 315000 vehicles, down 8.7% from the same period last year, further narrowing the decline.
According to specific types, in November this year, GAC GROUP sold 103000 cars, down 1.8% from the same period last year; 14000 MPV models, up 34.3% from the same period last year; 80000 SUV sales, up 25.4% from the same period last year.
