SHANGHAI, Nov 20 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port built up 8,000 mt from the prior week to 79,000 mt as of Friday November 20, SMM data showed.
In-plant silicon inventories were transferred to social warehouses before the dry season, which mainly contributed to the increase in silicon social inventories. Trades were more active at Tianjin port than at Huangpu port, and more low-grade silicon was traded after a large-scale plant in Xinjiang resumed production.
