SHANGHAI, Nov 20 (SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas decreased slightly by 500 mt from a week ago and stood at 23,800 mt as of November 20, showed SMM data.
Hundreds of tonnes of nickel briquettes arrived this week, and some of them were directly shipped into domestic social warehouses. The goods were booked by end-user customers in advance and the rest will be shipped into bonded area next week. Nearly 500 mt of nickel plates were shipped from bonded area this week. It is reported that more nickel plating will be shipped from overseas to ports in East China and South China at the end of this month and early next month, and the inventories of bonded area are likely to pile up again.
