SMM News: November 17, Tesla Beijing Wangjing Posco Center V3 supercharging station officially opened, the supercharging station is the largest V3 supercharging station in North China, a total of 21 V3 super charging piles (hereinafter referred to as supercharging piles). Tesla said that in the coming period of time, the Wangjing Tesla Center will also open, when Wangjing area will form a set of consultation, test ride, test drive, delivery, after-sales and other systematic services.

Compared with V2 overcharged pile, V3 overcharged pile has faster charging speed and lighter liquid-cooled charging line. Take the Model 3 as an example, at peak power, the charge can travel about 250km in 15 minutes.

At present, Tesla has set up a total of 45 super charging stations and 34 destination charging stations in Beijing, covering the urban core and surrounding popular self-driving routes.

Since the beginning of this year, Tesla's sales in China have risen rapidly, with Tesla's cumulative sales of about 92000 vehicles in the first 10 months of the Model 3, according to the Federation of passengers. Under this background, Tesla urgently needs to expand the charging facilities.

According to a person in charge of Tesla, it is expected that by the end of this year, Tesla will build nearly 650 super charging stations, more than 5000 super charging piles and more than 2000 destination charging piles in China, covering more than 270major cities and inter-city connections.

In addition to the expansion of charging hardware facilities, the software will also upgrade the experience. It is reported that Tesla developed the "battery preheating on the way" function, that is, when the car owner navigates to the overcharged pile and the third-party charging pile included in the navigation system, the vehicle will heat the battery to the optimal charging temperature, which can shorten the charging time when charging.

In addition, in view of the problem that some Tesla super-charging pile parking spaces are occupied by fuel vehicles, Tesla set up intelligent ground locks or property management personnel in the parking spaces, in which Tesla car owners need to scan the QR code above the parking spaces before charging the car to obtain verification information, which can be "unlocked" after entering the verification information into the APP.

[SMM PV News] QCIL Signs 30 MW Solar PPA to Decarbonize Healthcare Facilities Across India
Quality Care India Ltd (QCIL), a top Indian healthcare platform, has partnered with AMPIN Energy and Radiance Renewables to procure solar power for five facilities across Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. Under a Group Captive model, this initiative marks the first phase of a broader plan to transition 19 hospitals—including CARE Hospitals and KIMS Health—to renewable energy. QCIL is targeting a total renewable capacity of 30 MW, with the initial 6 MWp phase expected to reduce carbon emissions by 8,000 tonnes annually and cut electricity costs by approximately 20%. In the long term, the group aims to meet 80% of its energy needs through a hybrid model combining solar, wind, and battery storage (BESS).
