Over the past 25 years, the sales income has increased from zero to 30 billion yuan by the end of 2020, paying a total of 5.35 billion yuan in taxes to the state.

How has this new force, which has settled down in the lead and zinc industry, dared to innovate and is good at fighting tough battles, made amazing and dazzling achievements? In this regard, the reporter interviewed Cheng Quanming, secretary of the party committee, chairman and general manager of Jinli Group.

Time goes back to 1995, when Cheng Quanming retired from the army and returned to Nanxun Village, Jiyuan Chengliu town. after being tempered and honed by the army, the iron-blooded man set his sights on the distance. In order to make the villagers rich, Cheng Quanming plucked up the courage to lead 12 farmers to do their best to raise 1.6 million yuan. his dream is to write a "legend" on the barren land of Nanxun Village in Jiyuan City-- to build a smelter. The aim is to change the production mode based on traditional agriculture and get more farmers out of poverty. He knows clearly that really changing the concept of farmers requires "ambition" and "wisdom". Only with "ambition" can they become rich through hard work, and only with "wisdom" can they be led scientifically and develop in the long run.

The new road comes from the train of thought.

When Chuan Ming was faced with the 1.6 million yuan raised by 12 farmers, he was overjoyed. How could he not be displeased when a group of like-minded villagers trusted him and supported him? he knew that this sum of money was not easy to come by and must live up to the ardent expectations of his fellow villagers. At that time, Cheng Quanming, who was under pressure above his head, issued a military writ to himself, and he had to fight back to build the smelter and do a good job. At the same time, he warned the villagers that there will never be pie in the sky, and that only by subverting thinking, changing ideas, and starting from action can we get rid of real poverty. Soon, with the cooperation of everyone, a small workshop smelter named Goldlion was set up amid the sound of gongs and drums in Nanxun Village, which absorbed dozens of villagers from the village and started with only one ice furnace production line.

Cheng Quanming recalled that when the first matte furnace production line was started, the faces of the villagers who had faced the loess face upside down were brimming with pride. They dreamed of dropping their hoes and walking into the smelter like city dwellers. When their wish came true in front of their home, the villagers cherished the job opportunities from nine to five. In those difficult years, there were too many memories that could not be erased. Due to extensive production modes such as low level of technology and equipment, raw material delivery and other work required manual shoulder-to-shoulder and hands-on carrying, and everyone was covered in sweat every day. Except for the two flashing eyes, the face dripped by sweat was almost exactly the same. Even so, in those passionate years, the villagers and staff of Nanxun Village were not discouraged and were not afraid of difficulties. Not afraid of hardships, follow the footsteps of Cheng Quanming, with endless strength for the small smelter enthusiasm and sweat, they believe that the smelter is the road to common prosperity.

What makes Cheng Quanming unforgettable is that at the initial stage of production, first, it was restricted by the production of extensive equipment, and at the same time, due to the lack of technical support, the product quality was difficult to reach the standard, often the buyer's market set the price, and the enterprise did not have the right to speak. Second, because information and other means lagged behind, at that time, copper prices fell, resulting in a backlog of products, and capital turnover was even worse. Under the heavy pressure of many difficult factors, Cheng Quanming realized the taste of suffering and carried a heavy burden. At critical moments, shareholders did not give up and did not complain. They kept warm together. Through all kinds of brainstorming, they got up early in the dark and went out to inspect the market. Large and small smelters have left the pace of everyone's exploration: they closely follow the advanced technology of the industry, challenge new fields, and try to be the first strong warrior who dares to eat crabs. They squatted down to ask for advice from well-known institutions and advanced enterprises modestly, absorb experience, strive for the combination of industry, university and research, and finally innovate and change their ideas. Heaven favors people with good intentions, and in Cheng Quanming's words, the new road comes from ideas. In 1998, after the enterprise experienced the arduous trek in the entrepreneurial period, Goldlion's business situation gradually walked out of the predicament, and that year, a touch of spring was particularly bright.

In 2008, Jinli Group turned its attention to the recycling of renewable resources and embarked on the road of green ecological development. The enterprise invested in the construction of 140000 tons of waste battery comprehensive recovery and separation project, the project introduced Italy Anjtek CX battery crushing and separation integrated system, and supporting negative pressure equipment for production. What did Cheng Quanming really think about introducing this advanced technology and implementing the recycling of resources?

He told reporters that Jiyuan is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, and there are many smelting enterprises around it. With the continuous development of economy and society, high-grade primary resources are becoming more and more scarce. In order to develop continuously and highlight competitive advantages, the development of regeneration and recycling will be the direction, especially in recent years, with the rapid development of the domestic automobile and electric bicycle industry, waste lead-acid batteries that have reached a certain number of years have begun to be phased out and entered the market. He seemed to see that the mountain of waste products urgently needed to apply advanced technology to make efficient use of resources, and when this big problem began to come to his mind, he made up his mind that these waste resources must be allowed to play a key supporting role in economic development.

It turns out that these waste products are full of waste sulfuric acid and some valuable elements. if they are recycled through advanced environmental protection equipment, resource recovery and environmental benefits can be maximized. On the contrary, if they are recovered and dismantled by small workshops and enterprises, not only resources will be wasted, but these heavy metals that have not been exhausted will restrict and damage the ecological environment in the process of stacking or landfill. Based on this, taking responsibility, seizing opportunities, exploring development, Cheng Quanming led scientific and technological personnel to go abroad to travel to the highlands of the world's cutting-edge technology, to study conscientiously, to investigate and exchange, and to dig out the technology and equipment suitable for the enterprise's own reality: in order to protect the green mountains and rivers as soon as possible, benefit the people, and return to the enterprise, they docked the plan, worked continuously, and put the common ideal as a contribution to the defense of the blue sky on the agenda.

Through several years of development, Jinli Group recycling production from scratch, from small to large, three waste battery comprehensive environmental recovery production lines, through theoretical practice and technical engineering and other aspects of continuous docking and innovation, the annual handling capacity of the enterprise has reached 440000 tons. Speaking of three comprehensive environmental recovery production lines for waste storage batteries, Cheng Quanming patiently introduced the whole process of the production process. He said that the enterprise first broke the waste lead-acid battery and leached the waste sulfuric acid. The waste sulfuric acid was purified by Filter to produce pure dilute sulfuric acid, which was then mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid in the sulphuric acid workshop to produce sulfuric acid. Then the next process is carried out to crush the remaining waste batteries, and through wet screening and hydraulic flotation, lead paste, lead grid, ABS resin and other materials are separated, and then lead grid is melted to remove impurities and used to produce alloy lead, while lead paste is melted into crude lead and then refined into refined lead, and finally ABS resin is broken and separated into granulation and packaging. He stressed that closed disposal was implemented in all production processes, resulting in efficient recycling of waste lead-acid batteries in safety and environmental protection.

Prosperity and development live up to its mission

In fact, while building the comprehensive recovery and separation project of waste storage batteries, Jinli Group has begun to skillfully make a fuss on the recovery and utilization of waste water. In Cheng Quanming's view, enterprises are neither coastal nor near the river, and smelting enterprises are just large water users. How to open up a new situation in energy conservation, make water adapt to human society, and at the same time ensure long-term ecological water use in smelters and avoid the exploitation of groundwater. In 2008, Jinli Group shouldered the responsibility and mission and invested more than 2000 million yuan to build a wastewater treatment project to maximize the recycling of wastewater. in 2011, enterprises increased investment and invested more than 20 million yuan to build advanced wastewater treatment facilities to achieve the company's wastewater recycling standards. By 2017, Jinli Group actively responded to the national call to give priority to the use of surface water, invested 5 million yuan to build Kongzhuang Reservoir, introduced Qinhe water into Kongzhuang Reservoir, and used pipeline pressure to transport water to the plant area. finally, the enterprise achieved a new breakthrough in the use of surface water, ensuring the stability of water use in smelting production and other links.

Through environmental protection projects and taking a series of ecological combination roads such as circular development and wastewater treatment, in 2009, Jinli Group planned the layout, extended to depth and expanded to breadth, eliminated 49 square meters of sintering machine production line, and invested 450 million yuan to build a "comprehensive technical renovation project for energy saving and emission reduction". The project adopted Jinli direct smelting method (oxygen bottom blowing smelting-double side blowing direct reduction process). Jinli has become the first production enterprise to successfully apply the "liquid lead slag direct reduction technology", forming a leading benchmarking demonstration effect in the industry.

Cheng Quanming explained that the industrial experimental development and research of this technology was supported by the State Ministry of Science and Technology and a technological innovation project developed by China Enfei Engineering and Technology Co., Ltd. At that time, the reduction furnace of Jinli Group was designed by Enfei. Through the close connection of technical theory and practice, the experiment finally accumulated hundreds of test data, large and small, and formed a common technology patent of Jinli Group and Enfei.

Especially in the days when the project landed and the stove ignited and started up, faced with the technical problems in the new field of side-blowing technology, Jinli people quickly set up a team to tackle key problems without any experience to learn from. Make decisions on furnace conditions, oxygen lance and other problems, make plans, and seek innovation; In order to strive for the normal operation of the furnace, they stayed by the stove, staring at the small links of the changes in the slag melting process, sometimes for 24 hours, and did not dare to slack off at all. They were really sleepy, so they found a place to spread a bag to keep their eyes open. Through the joint efforts of everyone, the innovation of liquid lead slag direct reduction technology fills the technical gap of domestic bottom blowing furnace and matching hot slag direct reduction process.

Cheng Quanming also described the main characteristics of the oxygen bottom blowing smelting-double side blowing direct reduction process. He said that by reacting the liquid lead slag of the bottom blowing furnace with the auxiliary material coke oven gas and crushed slag, the technology can produce crude lead and slag with lead content less than 2%. Compared with the blast furnace, the SO2 emission is only 10% of that of the blast furnace, the waste gas can be reduced by 90%, and the energy consumption is greatly reduced. No sewage is produced, the discharge level of pollutants has been further optimized and improved, and the environmental protection benefit is remarkable. It is estimated that each index is better than the similar technical level at home and abroad, which solves the problem that the sensible heat of lead slag can not be used at high temperature. at the same time, the new technology has remarkable economic benefits because of low investment, good working environment and greatly reduced labor intensity.

Is it accidental to get such a brilliant result? Cheng Quanming told reporters that liberating the productive forces and improving labor productivity is the only way for sustained prosperity and development. In recent years, Jinli Group has always regarded scientific and technological innovation and process improvement as the core of the sustainable development of the enterprise, invested nearly 100 million yuan in scientific research, and trained a team of scientific research personnel. In 2012, Jinli Group invested 100 million yuan to build a waste heat power generation project, with an annual utilization of 432000 tons of waste heat steam and an annual power generation of 64.71 million kWh, to achieve an annual energy saving of 22600 tons of standard coal.
