China's aluminum alloy exports increased by 73.63% in August compared with the previous month.

SMM: according to Chinese customs data, China's aluminum alloy exports rose 73.63% to 16423 tons in August 2020 from the previous month, rebounding for the first time after four consecutive months of decline, but down 61.49% from the same period last year. Exports totaled about 129600 tons from January to August this year, down 64.22 percent from the same period last year. Of these, China exported about 10561 tons of aluminum alloy to Japan in August, up 137.61 percent from the previous month; 2808 tons to Hong Kong, up 69.22 percent from the previous month; and about 784 tons to Taiwan, up 2.97 percent from the previous month.
