SMM: following the launch of the battery financial leasing program in early September, Xiaopeng announced at the Beijing Auto Show, which opened on September 26th, that it will provide Xiaopeng's first non-operating car owner with a lifetime free charging service. The industry believes that the superposition of these two policies will help to significantly reduce the purchase and use costs of pure electric vehicle users, at the same time, the shackles of high price and inconvenient charging of pure electric vehicles are expected to be broken.

At this stage, restricted by the high battery cost, the price of pure electric vehicles is often higher than that of the same class of fuel vehicles, and there are still many inconveniences in charging electric vehicles. Consumers often struggle between fuel vehicles and pure electric vehicles when buying cars. Xiaopeng Motor launched the battery financial leasing plan and expanded the coverage of overcharging, and provided the first car owner with a lifetime free charging service, which precisely solved the above pain points of users and freed consumers from the worries of buying and using cars.

Xiaopeng overcharge free power-up plan to save car costs for users

It is understood that in order to provide car owners with more convenient, fast, safe and high-quality charging services, Xiaopeng overcharging will vigorously expand the layout of the overcharging network, while providing free charging services for the first non-operating owners of Xiaopeng cars who go to designated charging stations (piles) to recharge. Xiaopeng stressed that the owners of Xiaopeng can enjoy a free charging service of 3000 kilowatt-hours per service year. During the service year, after each charging is completed, the actual charging capacity will be automatically deducted from the free charging allowance. For example, at the end of a service year, when the amount of electricity consumed in the service year is less than the free charging, the surplus will be cleared automatically and will not add up. If the amount of electricity consumed in a service year is greater than the free charge, the car owner who uses Xiaopeng overcharge service in the service year will be charged according to the actual charge.

So, how much mileage can Xiaopeng give car owners 3000 kilowatt-hours of free electricity per service year to help users drive? Take the Xiaopeng G3 as an example, the car's 100-kilometer comprehensive power consumption of 14.1 kilowatt-hours per kilowatt-hour can provide users with a mileage of 21280 kilometers, which is more than enough for the average household user to drive more than 20, 000 kilometers a year. In this way, Xiaopeng provides users with 3000-degree free charging service, which means that for most users, they basically do not have to pay for vehicle charging within a year, which undoubtedly greatly saves users' car costs.

In addition, according to Xiaopeng Automobile, Xiaopeng overcharging partners are all domestic mainstream charging operators, such as National Electroweb, Southern Electroweb, Special call, Star charging, etc., at the same time, according to the number of urban customers and urban area, select third-party cooperation sites with excellent site location, good service and high safety standards, and on this basis, develop a high-power fast charging system to form a more effective urban charging network. Provide high-quality and efficient charging service for Xiaopeng car owners.

Since September 1 this year, Xiaopeng supercharging stations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou have begun to provide free charging services for Xiaopeng car owners. From September 26, 19 new cities will be covered by the free charging service of Xiaopeng supercharging station; by December 31, free charging service will be implemented in no less than 60 cities; by mid-2021, no less than 200 cities will implement this service. With the expansion of the city covered by the free charging service of Xiaopeng supercharging station, more and more Xiaopeng car owners will be able to enjoy fast and high-quality free charging service.

The battery rental scheme is implemented to help consumers reduce the pressure on buying cars.

In order to solve the pressure on users of pure electric vehicles caused by the high cost of batteries, Xiaopeng launched a battery financial leasing program earlier this month, which involves two models, Xiaopeng G3 and P7, including the GG3 520i series (enjoyable / intelligent / respectable version), P7's all-wheel drive high-performance series and rear-drive ultra-long life series.

According to Xiaopeng Motors, the battery rental plan is different from full car purchase and car purchase by installments. it is the only seven-year ultra-long phased service in the industry to share battery costs, and users can obtain battery ownership after seven years of payment. In addition, the car body price in the battery financial leasing plan can also be purchased with a down payment of at least 30%, which greatly reduces the financial pressure on users when buying a car.

We take the ultra-long-range Zhixing version of the Xiaopeng P7 rear drive at a price of 254900 yuan as an example. The financing amount of the battery of the car is 75000 yuan. After this part is purchased by battery financial lease, the owner of the car has to pay 980 yuan per month for the battery; the price of the car body is 179900 yuan. This part can be paid in full or in the form of a down payment of at least 30%. In this way, the cost of buying the Xiaopeng P7 in the form of battery financing lease is only equivalent to the price of a medium-sized fuel car, and the battery fee paid by the car owner over the next seven years is only equivalent to the monthly cost of the fuel vehicle. Car owners enjoy a higher-level smart car with more advanced technology, which is different from the fuel car.

According to the two policies recently launched by Xiaopeng Motor, each of them is for the sake of users'"wallets". The threshold for buying a car is lowered, and the pressure for users to buy a car is reduced; there is no need to pay for charging, and the cost for users to use the car is even lower. With the blessing of these two "benefits", if you are going to buy a car, you should not be entangled between an electric car and a fuel car, will you?
