SMM Network: with the approval of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the second round of seven central eco-environmental protection inspection teams have been stationed in Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang and other three provinces (cities) and two central enterprises, including China Aluminum Group Co., Ltd., and China Building Materials Group Co., Ltd., from August 30 to September 1, 2020, and carried out supervision pilot projects for two departments, including the National Energy Administration and the State Forestry and Steppe Bureau. As of the evening of October 1, 20: 00, the work of inspector stationing has been completed in an all-round way.
All inspection groups strictly implement the "regulations on the work of the Central Supervision of Ecological Environmental Protection," and publicize Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thinking wherever they go, and implement Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thinking wherever they go. In the process of supervision, we should always adhere to the people as the center, actively promote the solution of the outstanding eco-environmental problems reflected by the masses, spot check the rectification and reform of the problems reported by the masses, and visit the masses on the spot to listen to opinions and suggestions. We have always adhered to the problem orientation, identified a number of outstanding eco-environmental problems, such as illegal sewage discharge, illegal dumping, destruction of woodland, encroachment on wetlands, and destruction of ecology, and verified a number of inaction, slow actions, no responsibility, no hard work, and even perfunctory responses, fraud and other formalistic and bureaucratic problems, and 15 typical cases were publicly exposed. Always adhere to seeking truth from facts, strive for the effectiveness of inspectors, resolutely oppose such issues as "one size fits all", generalization and simplification of accountability, and replacing rectification and reform with accountability, constantly simplify and optimize the supervision process, and strive to lighten the burden on the grassroots.
Relevant provinces (cities), departments, and central enterprises attach great importance to supervision work, and regard strengthening supervision cooperation and promoting border supervision while reforming as an important part of raising the political station and resolutely implementing Xi Jinping's thinking on ecological civilization. the main party and government leaders vigorously promote supervision cooperation and rectification and implementation by means of supervision mobilization, on-site supervision, holding special meetings, and strengthening interview and accountability, and filing and investigation. As of October 1, various inspection groups had received a total of 15307 reports from the masses, accepted 11870 valid reports, and transferred 10302 reports after merging and repeating reports. 5065 cases have been completed, 2505 cases have been completed in stages, 1000 cases have been put on file for punishment, with a fine of 79.0557 million yuan, 57 cases have been put on file for investigation, 50 people have been detained, and 355 party and government leading cadres have been interviewed and 104 people held accountable (see attached table for details).
