SMM: on September 28th, Xiaopeng announced that it had reached an agreement with Guangzhou Kaide Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned enterprise of Guangzhou Development Zone Management Committee, to provide 4 billion RMB financing to support Xiaopeng Motor's accelerated business expansion, including the construction of a new intelligent manufacturing base and the purchase of factory equipment in Guangzhou Economic and technological Development Zone.
On the same day, Xiaopeng Automobile Intelligent Network United Automobile Intelligent Manufacturing Base (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base") laid the foundation in Guangzhou knowledge City Intelligent equipment District, which is Xiaopeng Automobile's second vehicle manufacturing base after Zhaoqing factory. With the foundation of Guangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base, Xiaopeng Automobile will form the layout of "Guangzhou + Zhaoqing".
It is understood that Xiaopeng Automobile Guangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base is scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of 2022, with five major process workshops: stamping, welding, painting, final assembly and Pack, which are used for the research and development of new models, vehicle production and sales. At the same time, Xiaopeng Motor has formed a full chain covering investment, R & D, production and sales in Guangzhou Development Zone, and laid out the national investment and financing headquarters, smart travel and vehicle R & D and testing business.

At present, Xiaopeng has two production plants, namely, the Zhengzhou factory, which cooperates with Haima Motor, and the self-built Zhaoqing factory. The former mainly produces G3 with an annual production capacity of 150000 vehicles, while the latter began to produce P7 in May this year, with an annual output of 100000 vehicles. Guangzhou Intelligence Base, which laid the foundation this time, has not yet disclosed data such as annual output.
