SMM9: Zambia's Finance Minister Bwalya Ng'andu said in his budget speech on Friday that the country will abolish import tariffs on copper concentrates and copper ores to encourage local processing.

In addition, Zambian copper export revenues fell 14.8 per cent to US $2.3 billion in the first half of this year due to falling copper prices.
