SMM9 March 23: Sichuan Shengwei Zhiyuan Lithium Industry Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Guangdong Weihua Co., Ltd., has recently put into trial production the first group of 150T lithium production equipment in the first phase of the 600T lithium metal project.

Shengwei Lithium Industry plans to build 1000 tons of metal lithium project, which is located in Sichuan Shehong Economic Development Zone Lithium Industry Park, in which the first phase plans to build 1000 tons of metal lithium per year.

The smooth commissioning of Shengwei lithium industry will help the company to improve the comprehensive development capacity of lithium resources, improve the scientific and technological content and added value of lithium products, and accelerate the development and improvement of lithium salt product system. Shengwei Lithium Industry's first phase of 600-ton lithium metal project will take some time from trial production to full production, and there are still uncertainties such as future market changes and whether the construction progress of the surplus capacity can be completed as planned.
