International Aluminum Association: global aluminum production fell to 5.485 million tons in August

SMM: global primary aluminum production fell to 5.485 million tons in August and revised to 5.489 million tons in July, according to data released by the International Aluminum Association ((IAI)) on Monday.

China's primary aluminum production is expected to remain at 3.17 million tons in August, compared with a revised 3.17 million tons in July, IAI added.
