Primary lead smelters operating rates unchanged on week

SHANGHAI, Sep 18 (SMM) — Operating rates across primary lead smelters in Henan, Hunan and Yunnan provinces remained unchanged from a week ago at 59.3% in the week ended September 18, showed an SMM survey.

The average operating rates for smelters in Henan, Yunnan and Hunan steadied at 75.5%, 35.8% and 47.2% respectively. 

Domestic primary lead smelters operated normally this week. Zhongjin Lingnan is likely to complete maintenance next week. Resumptions of Hunan Jingui and West Mining will come under scrutiny.
