SMM9 March 17: following the successful holding of the first "2019 most potential Automotive material Innovation Award", it once again ushered in the second "2020 most potential Automotive Materials and Castings products selection activity" award-winning enterprise announcement ceremony and evaluation expert award ceremony.
Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and seven associations, including Shanghai Automotive Engineering Association, Shanghai Auto parts Industry Association, Shanghai Chemical Industry Association, Shanghai Plastics Industry Association, Shanghai Iron and Steel Service Industry Association and SMM (SMM), under the guidance of Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, set up a cooperation platform for strategic partners of "Automotive innovative Materials and applications" in January 2019. Relying on the association and the portal SMM and other channels to solicit product information related to automobile matching from new materials enterprises across the country, the selection activity of "the first 2019 most potential Automotive material Innovation Award" was held. The activity hired more than a dozen "automotive new materials experts" to participate in the selection work, and finally selected a number of excellent enterprises after months of selection and comprehensive evaluation by the jury.
In order to promote the innovative and integrated development of new materials and the automotive industry, jointly discuss automotive material solutions, create a closed loop for the green development of the automotive industry chain, and help establish a leading new energy automobile industry cluster, in the first half of this year, the second "selection of the most potential Automotive Materials and Castings in 2020" was successfully held again.
In order to improve the professional structure of the expert pool, SMM invited a group of experts from metal materials and automotive mainframe factories and parts enterprises to join the "Automotive Innovation Materials and Application Review expert Committee" and completed the review of 157 innovative materials and application materials submitted by 124 enterprises at the end of August.
On September 17th, 2020 (2nd) China Industry Expo New Materials Forum-China Automotive New Materials Application Summit Forum jointly organized by Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Shanghai Automotive Engineering Society, Suzhou Die casting Technology Association and Shanghai Nonferrous net, and China (eighth) Aluminum processing Industry chain supply and demand Trading Summit, and China (second) Copper processing Industry chain supply and demand Trading Summit, Zhao Jiasheng, vice president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and Jiang Wei, director of the New Materials Department of Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, formally issued a letter of appointment for the newly joined experts on the spot.
