The company was founded in 1998, formerly known as Qingyuan County Xingda Metal processing Plant, and changed its name to Qingyuan County Shenglong Zinc plating Co., Ltd in 2006. The hot-dip galvanized alloy jointly developed by the company and the relevant experts of China Nonferrous Metals Research Institute started production in 1988, and at first only supplied to the company.
